A little update.
I know you haven’t heard much from us and we can’t really hold meeting right now, so I thought I would give you a brief update... We are hard at work walking areas on Kaien Island, discussing these areas with Recreation Sites and Trails BC as well as our local Indigenous contacts and Kaien Trails.
This is a time consuming process but it’s essential to have a solid plan before we ask for funding. We have held a few socially distant Directors meetings to keep things rolling. At this point the best way to support us is to stay engaged and spread the word. Buying memberships is also critical as our membership size is essential for our applications for funding.
