NCMBA Spring 2022 Update...
Hello Spring 2022! What a beautiful start to spring this year.
We have been quiet on blog updates, but we have been very active behind the scenes!
The wheels are moving forward on the Asphalt Pump Track development...
We have secured a site with the City of Prince Rupert, are working on a lease & insurance agreement. Once finalized, it will go out for public review. As soon as we have the agreements secured, we will provide a follow-up update to our members.
We hope to begin pump track construction in Q3/Q4 of 2022, however we do have a significant amount of funds to be raised to make this happen!
We are currently seeking grants; we have been approved for one major grant towards the Pump Track, and will be able to announce soon. We are also pursuing other grants, and with that have updated our Fundraiser Proposal brochure for 2022.
You can download the new PDF brochure below:
For trail development, our Cell Tower location has been approved by the Provincial Government, RSTBC. McElhanney has secured the contract and toured the site at the beginning of 2022.
Trail Development will happen after the completion of the Pump Track. At that point, we would be seeking community volunteers to help with building of trails, so stay tuned to 2023 for more...
We are looking forward to the better weather, and participating in some community based events!
We will be celebrating with PRPA at the Seal Cove Salt March Grand Opening Event.
Please come by and say hello, we would love to meet our members!
We also will be offering 2022 membership renewals at the event if you have not already purchased your 2022 membership.
More information about this event will be available soon through PRPA, and we will send out a reminder email closer to the date.
